On June 11, 2026, I signed a contract with myself: finish this novel, Ruby and Rebecka, by the end of summer. Ha ha, That is taking much much longer than I anticipated however I am still adhering to my contract with myself!
Every chapter I post is part of what makes this contract real. You reading this is not a small thing. It is the thing. And I am so grateful.

A quick word on AI. I do not use it to write this novel. Not one sentence of Ruby and Rebecka comes from a machine. These days I mostly use Claude for formatting and spelling, getting chapters ready to post. The words, the story, the choices, all of that is mine.
